- Change - Even though change is sometimes good... it's in our nature to resist it anyway.
- Compromise - Being "green" is (or was) more work, more money, inferior performance, etc.
If given a choice, and all things equal, I truly believe we'd all go for the "green". If we could buy an electric car that would go from 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds, travel 500 miles before taking a couple minutes to recharge, had the same styles as the cars we drive now, and the prices were the same... I'm thinking gas engines would be like pagers. I believe that's exactly what is happening right now with automobiles, it's just a matter of time before the art is perfected.
With that in mind... take a look again at how you could "go green" in ways now that no longer involve big change or any compromise. There are organic and environmentally friendly products and services that are superior to their counterparts, and are becoming even less expensive! I believe we owe it to ourselves, our children, and the world to continue to improve our environment. "Going Green" is a good thing, and with all things equal... the natural choice :)
